Carbine Instructor Re-Certification

  • Agency selects course/training required; should attending members meet prerequisites
  • Agency will download the QF135 Course Registration Form by clicking on the register now tab
  • Download the enrollment form and save as the following: Name of agency, name of applicant, name of course and date
  • Agency completes the Course Registration Form (with as much information as possible) and email a completed copy to the ÎçÒ¹av In-Service Mail Box found at apainservicetraining@hollandcollege.com
  • Email and attach the completed form using the same name of agency, name of applicant, name of course and date as the subject line. This will allow for quick and streamlined processing of the application
  • Agency will be provided with a follow-up email advising of the result of their attendance
  • Should a member be selected for training, the member will be provided with joining instructions to assist with their enrollment

Course Description

This course is designed to re-certify current carbine instructors. The course consists of one day in the classroom and two days of range training, and includes a review the previous information taught on the Carbine Instructor's course. Range training consists of 900 rounds per participant, and is included in the cost of tuition.

Course Pre-requisites

  • Employeed as a sworn member with a Law Enforcement / Public Safety agency
  • Having completed and current in Use of Force qualification as per department policy
  • Being a current Basic Firearms Instructor in good standing with respective agency and or organization

Note: Agencies are required to bring their own service weapon and ammunition, anticipating firing in excess of 1000 carbine and 200 pistol rounds. Agencies unable to provide their own ammunition may purchase it from the Academy. For pricing details, please email apainservicetraining@hollandcollege.com.
