Hurricanes Celebrate Scholar-Athlete Honours for 2023-24


Charlottetown, PE – June 19, 2024 – The Holland Hurricanes are thrilled to announce and congratulate the outstanding achievements of our scholar-athletes for the 2023-2024 academic year. These exceptional students have excelled both in their respective sports and academic pursuits, demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and excellence.

The Scholar-Athlete Honours are awarded to student-athletes who have maintained a high academic status while competing at a collegiate athletics level. This year, we recognize 104 remarkable individuals from various sports disciplines for their exemplary performance.

Our four student-athletes who achieved the highest academic grades during 2023-24 were Molly Steadman (basketball) and Dominik Pineau (volleyball) for CCAA member sports, and Madison Tingley (rugby and hockey) and Samuel Worth (baseball) for non-CCAA member sports.
