Description
This course is designed to provide serving law enforcement and peace officers the necessary training to be Certified Officer Safety and Use of Force Instructors. This course will cover the latest developments, techniques and teaching methods, including ground control tactics, safe and effective handcuffing techniques, and current strategies involving knowledge of Critical Intervention & De-Escalation. Participants are asked to bring vests, hand restraints, batons, gym clothes and sneakers. Prerequisite: Course participants must have successfully completed (1) the ÎçÒ¹av Use of Force course, or (2) the national Use of Force Model training (NUFF) at an accredited and recognized training facility.
