Board hosts service awards luncheon

The Board of Governors at ÎçÒ¹av recently hosted a Service Award Luncheon in the Lucy Maud Dining Room at The Culinary Institute of Canada. This event recognized the contribution made by those ÎçÒ¹av staff members celebrating their tenth, twentieth and thirtieth anniversaries of continuous service with ÎçÒ¹av.

Master of Ceremonies for the event was President Brian McMillan. Steve Loggie, Chair of the Board of Governors, presented certificates and gifts to the staff members. In his comments, Loggie stated, "The staff members of a company are the key to its success. The ÎçÒ¹av has remained competitive by crafting a solution that marries the needs of staff to those of the organization. The commitment of employees makes the difference. It is only possible, through the abilities of a creative and diverse staff, for an institution to grow and evolve." He also noted, "When working in a positive environment of cooperation, productivity is optimized. The contribution of staff has been significant and it is a pleasure to be here today to recognize and credit these achievements."
