Welshmen stage third annual spring concert

The ÎçÒ¹av Welshmen Community Band will stage its third annual spring concert 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 5 in the gymnasium in the Charlottetown Centre on the Prince of Wales Campus.

The popular event will feature the full concert band, which will perform a wide range of pieces including a medley from the hit movie Pirates of the Caribbean. The ÎçÒ¹av Jazz/Funk Band will perform two hot numbers, and percussion students from the Charlottetown Rural High School Band will perform in a special drum line feature. A new addition will be the collaboration between an alternative-rock group made up of ÎçÒ¹av students and some members of the Welshmen Concert Band.

There is no charge for admission, but cash donations for the band fund and food donations will be gratefully received.
