ÎçÒ¹av will offer a number of credit courses over the summer, giving students and prospective students an opportunity to get a head start on their studies.
The courses, most of which start in mid-May, offer credit toward a wide array of programs. They are ideal for anyone interested in taking a course to increase their skill sets; for incoming students who would like a lighter course load during the school year; and for current students who need to retake a course to stay on track.
Susan Howard, Director of Program Development and Planning at ÎçÒ¹av, is spearheading the flexible delivery project which has brought about these course offerings.
“The college is currently delivering some courses in evenings and online. These summer courses expand on that base, giving people more options to explore post-secondary education at various times and through alternative delivery methods.”
Courses include Anatomy and Physiology: ACP DL, Basic Technical Mathematics, Business Communications, Computer Essentials, Economics, English, Entrepreneurship, Facilities and Operations Management, Financial Management, Intellectual Disabilities, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, and Trade Math.
