"ÎçÒ¹av provides students with experiential and co-operative learning opportunities and fundamental training for successful careers. Students are encouraged to embrace a collaborative approach that champions diversity and makes the Island and our society a better place. I am proud to support the college and share its story with Canadians and the international community."

 Peter Mcluaghlin

"Education is one of the primary levers to creating a better world. I am proud to be part of ÎçÒ¹av, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. It has been inspiring to watch the college grow and develop over the years and I am excited to be part of the Foundation Board to help support the future at ÎçÒ¹av!"

Peter McLaughlin, Vice Chair - President & Managing Partner, Anne of Green Gables Chocolates

"As a past Chair of the ÎçÒ¹av's Board of Governors, I truly appreciate the significance of ÎçÒ¹av to Prince Edward Island. The college has seen tremendous growth over the past decade and has ambitious plans to further develop it's programs and activities across the province. I take great pride in assisting the ÎçÒ¹av Foundation to further enhance the legacy of ÎçÒ¹av."

"The advantage of having ÎçÒ¹av in our community is a win-win for both Island students and employers. Our students can receive a first-class education at home. While we are known to be small, we are also known to be nimble and can adapt to meet the needs of employers who need specific skill sets. Not too small that we can't make our mark on the national or international stage, whether it be in academics, skilled trades, or athletics. I look forward to being part of the Foundation team that contributes to the continued success of ÎçÒ¹av."

Kathleen Casey - Former MLA & Community Leader

“I am very proud to serve on the Foundation Board because of the profound impact it has on individuals’ lives.  As an alumnus, being a member of the Board allows me to contribute in some way to the growth and success of the ÎçÒ¹av that played a pivotal role in my educational journey and career.  I have a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education and hope to help current and future students achieve their goals. ÎçÒ¹av is an extremely valuable asset, as a first-class educational institution, as an employer, and as an economic driver for PEI.”

"ÎçÒ¹av has a uniquely responsive connection to the labour market and the needs of industry. As an indispensable partner of our economy's growth and vitality, it is essential that ÎçÒ¹av has the infrastructure and capacity to provide the best qualified graduates, and leaders, back to our labour market. Supporting this aim in some small way is a rewarding contribution to the future of our post-secondary environment and prosperity of our community."

Blake Doyle - President, Confederation Group

"As a proud Islander, it has been exciting to watch ÎçÒ¹av grow and thrive. Prince Edward Island has benefited significantly from the skilled labour force produced by the many programs offered at this first-class Institution. The student body is the heart of the college and their health and well-being are integral to its success. The foundation is in place to help support the students and enhance their college experience, and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to assist in its growth."

“I really didn’t fully appreciate what ÎçÒ¹av means to the community until our daughter, Lisa, enrolled in the Foundations program and went on to get her diploma as an early childhood educator. The learning managers and support staff made sure Lisa was supported to be successful! ÎçÒ¹av creates opportunities,  I’m very happy to do my little part to make sure that continues."

John Horrelt - President, REJ Holdings & LandFest Company Ltd.

"It has been said best by Michelle Obama.

'The ability to read, write, and analyze; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in the door and take your seat at the table – all of that starts with education.'

As a strong believer in the value of a good education, and valuing the role that ÎçÒ¹av plays in educating and preparing its students to become valuable contributors in their communities, I am pleased to be able to support and advance the goals of the ÎçÒ¹av Foundation in its work to enhance the contribution ÎçÒ¹av is able to make to our Island community and beyond."

Barbara E. Smith, K.C. - Partner, Stewart McKelvey

"In this day and age, the training that ÎçÒ¹av provides is more important than ever. The Foundation provides assistance to students to allow them to succeed and excel. I am proud to be involved in such an endeavour."
